I had better introduce myself and my "better half". My name is Don and my long suffering partner in crime is Phyllis, we have been together now for 24 years, and between us we have 14 children, 29 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

When I acquired my Greyfergie Phyllis told me in no uncertain terms that she was not too impressed with a heap of rusting metal in the garden. However as time went by and it started to look a bit more like what it was first supposed to be she became accustomed to it and has even driven it.

I acquired my Ferguson TE20, on 9th June 1994. It carries the serial number 121333, was originally built in 1950, and was a petrol model. The engine was changed in 1953 for a Perkins P3 Diesel, also it was changed from 6 to 12 volt. This tractor was in a terrible condition and needed a lot of work done to restore it to its former glory. To see this in more detail go to the restoration page.
Now that the restoration is complete I take pride in showing it at various shows and occasionally attend local ploughing events.

The following pages are dedicated to my TE20 as it has become a major hobby and whenever possible gets used as first intended.

Please have a look round, enjoy the photos and if you have any questions please feel free to contact me or leave them in my Greyfergie forum.

Don.

If you are a regular visitor you will have noticed the new look to my site, I hope you like it. There is now a new guestbook, due to so much junk being left on it the old one has had to be replaced, however, it is still available but for viewing only. If you sign it your entry will not appear so please use the new one by clicking the link in the menu on the left. Click here for the old guestbook
